Diary of a Day dreamer-

I got a  brain, let me make it clear, & in that brain I have got lots of thoughts! These thoughts have their favorite hotspots where their frequency increases tremendously. Like bathroom, in a boring class,  in your bed at night & window panes. In bathroom & in boring class it's more of daydreaming, over optimistic  thoughts or wishful thinking. I used to daydream a lot in class, I still do! Daydreaming is such a beautiful escape. I took the step of day dreaming because I didn't wanted to be found sleeping in class it's such a bad impression on teachers & I look weird when I am half sleeping. Once I was caught half sleeping in my history class. The teacher threw a chalk at me & broke my sleep. After this humiliation I started DDing. It has so many benefits first it's interesting & a good time pass activity. Teachers think you are fully attentive in class.
What I used to DD about? Usual stuff…like the harry potter dream.  Prof. Dumbledore, Prof.  Mcgonnagal & Hagrid come storming in my class. Wish you could see their entry in my dream. Nevertheless as obvious we all staring at them shell shocked! Dumbeldore asks for me. I stand up reluctantly & then they rescue me from that boring lecture & take me with them to  "Hogwarts!"   after this a little MIB comes in the picture ,witnesses memory are erased with the help of neuralyzer. One more? Okay this was before 21st dec 2012 when the apocalypse fever was spread everywhere. Obviously it had to get a place in my DD. As usual our boring class is on then I see outside through the window a gigantic wave is approaching our school. I pull out a remote from my bag & press it! Our school ground starts to shiver like a volcano, something inside of it coming out slowly. All are watching this wide eyed.  A huge UFO like space ship comes out. My creation. I tell all to get inside  thus saving some lives &  becoming a hero. My physics teacher whose lecture was on thinking "I thought this girl was stupid but she's a genius!" I could not dream more as my phy teacher asked me a question which I answered thanx to my friends who were sitting behind me.

Some things to keep in mind while daydreaming in class -
  1. Pay attention at the start of the lecture at least know which topic is being taught.
  2.  keep eyes blinking frequency normal.
  3. Don't keep staring. Move your gaze now & then. Once my friend was DDing. He was staring at mam as if he was listening to her. Mam moved aside but his gaze didn't. he was staring  at wall.  Mam noticed this & he faced a tough question.
  4.  no matter how happy you are in your dream world. Never let a smile come out of that world. If someone notices they would think you are lunatic. Teachers are pro at catching day dreamers so beware!
  5. Don't use this gift frequently as it's pretty addictive. You might miss out on something important in real world. I got so addicted to it that I preferred doing it then studying for exam the next day.  as you may have guessed less marks don't let this blessing become a disguise.
  6. Day dreaming is your right & your property. Use it as you would like. There are no limits. But remember there's a thick line between DD & reality.

Indian 'Sanima' -part 2

In this post I am bringing to you the 2nd part of my Best Scenes
compilation. I'll be describing those scenes which you simply can't miss. So here they are-

  1. Fashion-
A typical Madhur Bharndarkar movie baring the "dark secrets" of the glam world.
this is the story of a small town girl Meghna with big dreams. As she climbs up the ladder of success she discovers the wild ruthless side of the fashion world & falls a prey to it.  Then starts her struggle with herself. A beautifully depicted movie turned out to be a big hit & winner of many prestigious awards.

when Meghna is replaced as the lead model of 'Penache'. She is shattered & starts drugging. She went on to sleep with a complete stranger under the influence of drugs. When she wakes up & sees an unknown man lying beside her. She gets up & goes to her home. In this particular scene when Meghna sees herself in mirror & realizes what she has done. She wipes her face with tissue in desperation to regain the beautiful girl she was once. But then breaks down. Beautifully acted by Priyanka Chopra.

  1. Dhoom-2
Sequel of Dhoom, Dhoom-2 lived up to its expectations. The new villain (Hrithik roshan) did full justice to the role of a techno geek robber who loves to steal antiques.

The best scene is the scene where the clever villain Aryan has his eyes on a rare diamond. He targets the museum where the diamond is kept. He slips into the room looking exactly like a Greek statue himself amongst the other statues. He is actually un-noticeable. On his hand what looks like a book is actually a remote of the tiny robotic car he made. He manages to steal the diamond. The scene is beautifully pictuarized & deserves a thumbs up.

  1. Bhul bhulaiya
when I first saw the trailers of this movie it looked like a comedy movie. Indeed it is a comedy but filled with suspense & thrill. This movie was a real surprise to me.

In this scene Sidhartha refuses to let her wife Avni go for shopping & tries to provoke her as told by his psychiatrist friend  Aditya. She finally gets provoked & shows her dark side of Manjulika . raising the bed single handedly & threatening Sidhartha before turning normal. It was a real goosebump raiser scene & its credit goes to Vidya Balan for delivering such a breath taking performance.

Indian 'sanima'

I am a complete movie buff.
I am that fan of movies who after watching every great movie imagines herself as the lead character.
I am that fan of movies who after every great scene doesn't refrain herself of clapping and sure whistling if I knew how to do that.

I am that fan of movies who if watching her favorite movie can forget any important work for e.g.- eating, studying for tomorrow's exam and ignoring mom's orders (the most important one!:P).

I am that fan of movies whose concentration level exceeds even Einstein's while watching movies!

Below is a list of my all-time favorite bollywood movie scenes-

  • 3 idiots-  if you've seen this movie you probably know which scene I am going to talk about. An Amir khan movie with a fair dose of  tears and laughter. There are many funny & heartwarming scenes in the movie but nothing beats this one.
  • Yeah, MR. CHATUR RAMALINGAM(omi vaidya) born & brought up in Uganda giving a memorable speech on teacher's  day. A hilarious scene which gives you the best pain - stomach ache with laughter. CHAMATKAAR kar diya!:P

  • Dilwale dulhaniya le jayenge- a die-hard romantic movie starring my favorite sharukh khan & kajol. The epic love-story of an NRI guy raj & desi kudi simran is still being watched even today by many. The award for the best scene goes to-

The end scene- after the fight sequence ,raj boards the train simran pleads to her father to let her go. Finally simran's father let go of her hand & says "ja simran ja, jeele apni zindagi". The train starts to depart simran runs & runs. Raj holds her hand & pulls her into the train. Welcome to "happily ever-after"! One of the best climax scenes ever!!

  • Dhoom-  an action movie, first of its kind in India which got such a good response. girls went gaga over John's fantastic physique . Boys went crazy with his superb bike stunts. Abhishek & uday too acted well but the star of the movie was John. An excellently shot movie with a 'dhaasoo' soundtrack!

The best scene- the chase sequence between Kabir gang & the police. Kabir gang on their bikes speeding up after robbing a bank right under the nose of police. Then a nail biting chasing  scene starts. jai & ali chasing him. But failed to catch him. Kabir's bike was far too advanced with a nitrogen cylinder. With the nitrogen boost he zoomed away from jai's sight & was soon out of their reach!

Qyality Walls-

The 3 basic needs of man-food, clothes & shelter.

Today I'll be talking about the 3rd need -shelter( walls to be precise).

walls are not just physical structures that surround us, they are much more than that. Let's have a closer & deep look at them.

Importance-
- walls protect us, let us have some private space.

-Walls are symbol of security. It does not let outside influences to disturb us.

- Be it any season-summer, winter, autumn or spring walls are there for us.

-walls  are great supporters too. It supports roof ,without which it would have been very difficult to dodge the rains and strong sunshine!

-walls have been of great importance since ages. old kingdoms building huge walls around their fort for defense against enemies.

-some great old memories- sketching on the walls when we were young and decorating the walls with the poster of our favorite rock star (Hannah Montana or Michael Jackson ) or an inspiring person in our teens.

-Standing tall even today the GREAT WALL of china is a perfect example of  grandeur of the human architecture.

-a nicely built wall with a strong foundation can stand even the worse of worst calamities and disasters.

Psychology behind it-
but walls are always not pretty and comforting. they are often a sign of restriction, oppression and imprisonment.

Ask Ms. Aung San Suu Kyi & others who have spent a very long time on house arrest.

The most terrifying situation I can imagine myself  in - confined In 4 walls of a room forever with no communication. As good as dead.

Walls are a symbol of divide too. Walls  create separations and divisions.  Walls  have become a border separating one house from another, one state from another & one country from another.

with the outside walls we should take care of our inside invisible walls too.

The walls which are present in our minds of differences. These invisible walls often makes us forget that we all are equal. we should build our inside walls strong enough to protect us from negativity, evils and fears.

Thought to ponder-
Just imagine what if one day all the people decide to break every wall on earth(almost every wall) . What will be the scenario? Horrifying, huh??!!

Sure there would be a feeling of horror as there would always be a fear of someone watching us and our secrets will be out. our private life would be totally disrupted. An unimaginable difficult event in an age where people are completely busy in their own life and care little of outside world.

But if looked from a positive perspective this event would certainly bring  a unique sense of freedom and equality!

That's all about the walls from my side!
